Auto Refresh 5 App Reviews

The app only refreshed the page at your desired interval, does not run in the background, and the page monitor fails on every attempt. It should look for page changes and not just specific words (which isnt has trouble doing). Dont buy until it is improved.

I use it everyday for refreshing the stock market on TD Waterhouse. Saves buying streaming real time quotes. 5 stars

I am a big fan of this idea However the word detection seems to have a few bugs: 1. It is currently case sensitive, (ie: "the" and "The" are different) 2. It cannot read punctuation, (ie: "end" and "end." are different) 3. It cannot capture partial words or part of a number (ie: "15" will not be accepted as part of "315"). Like I said I really like this app, but without the accuracy of word detection being improved, I cannot count on the notification to ring for me. Please fix ASAP Thanks.

Great concept, extremely useful tool, but the word and sound detection needs work. The sound, as well as the word detector, does not always work. Other than that, great app.

Seems like this app works well refreshing every 300 seconds but it shuts itself off after a few hours. How do I keep it refreshing until I want it to STOP?

The countdown displayed on the web page ruins this app. It is not optional.

I will be asking Apple for a refund on this one. No place for settings! Does 5 seconds only no target words as advertised. Awful!

This App does just what it says. YOU select your time interval, YOU set the target words. It has been terrific for what I use it for. I dont leave reviews that often but I thought I would counter the one star reviews by people who obviously cant look at some pictures to figure out where the settings are. The countdown could be turned on or off, but it doesnt bother me for my use. You are usually not looking at this when you use it anyway. A TERRIFIC BUY. Worth every penny.

Did a google search for something like this on my iPhone 4s and this came up, I saw it had the Auto-Refresher and bought since I had a 10$ iTunes card... But I found out the target word which comes in handy for the way I use it!! How I use the app is to find new limited/limitedUs on RŌBLOX when they first arrive and if I can predict the name of one and type it in on the word finder it will tell me right when it comes out!! Love it, WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

I use all the features of this app, on an iPad 1, running iOS 5. I bought this to monitor a page that uses frames, which is a little bit different to get working in this app. I figured out the frame URL to reload using Firefox on my PC first and then set this app up. The only thing that I would change is to allow the page to keep reloading after a match condition is satisfied as an option. If that is done I would need or desire that the audible alarm, which is the killer great part of this app, to alarm once when the match condition is met, but if the match condition disappears, or becomes false, the alarm should re-arm and audible when it becomes true again.

Can only reload one page at a time and that page must be open in order to work. It does not work in background. Suggestions: allow to work in background and be able to reload multiple pages at a time

The app just works like what it told. Im so glad it can catch the target words when its refreshing a page. But like the previous reviews say,I wish it can work in background and be able to reload multiple pages at a time. Please fix it! Ill pay more if they can fix the problem! lol

The refresh works perfect. However I cant get my app to find the target word like its supposed too. I think itll also work a lot better if you fix this and have the capability to click in that target word if its a link...

Wish I read the reviews before installing. Is there anything better out there?

Im using the app to refresh pages featuring randomly-timed on-sales. The page refresh works fine, but I can not get the "beep" or alert sound to function. This is frustrating because I essentially have to stare at the screen and visually monitor a change to the page.

I love this app, but the feature that we would like to see is: Instead of a Target Word finder, We need a Sound notification for anything that changes in the page after each refresh. For example: if the website refreshes and a letter, Word, or number changes Give us Alert. A target word is not very useful because the website that we Use have many words and words are repetitive so is useless for us a Target Word. If the app can identify a New Word or letter, even if is the same word and give us a Notification Sound it will be a Hit!!! If you make this Happen I Guarantee that you will get Many Many people to buy the app from the industry that I work for! Keep up the good work!!!

I agree. Put something in the app that looks at the whole website looking for a change. Maybe a sizable square that we can select what we want watched. That would be good. Works fine for my use.

I like the easy menu and would like more options without adding complexity to the menu screen. The versions I can use on chrome compare the text to match against the html. This give it a lot of advantages, in that a word or phrase can be specific to an area of the web page. I would also like more than one screen similar to what I can do on chrome; maybe it has to be another copy of this app on Apple. Another feature would be to automatically switch between find and lose. This would require the actions be recorded on a simple list: date time, phrase, lost or found.

Reload pages just fine, but the “FIND TARGET” option is non functional for me even though it’s enabled. I can actually see my target word on the webpage right now, but my iPhone is quiet as a mouse. Oddly, this same app on Chrome works as advertised, just not on iOS.

Useless... Cannot run this app and be able to use safari at the same time. Doesnt refresh the page. I needed to hit the start button on the video after it refreshes. I wanted to avoid doing that, that is why I purchased this app. Very unhappy and not worth the money
